When I was introduced to the up-and-coming local online magazine Matchbook Magazine, I was immediately smitten!! They were just MY kind of magazine....cute local interest stories, articles on culture, travel, fashion and secrets to a "charmed life." Finally, something fresh and clever out there.

Cuteness Alert-Morning in a Flower Shop for Matchbook Magazine!

Most days, I love my job. I mean I get paid take pictures! That rocks!

This day was no exception. I spent a morning hanging with the lovely shop owners of Studio Choo, a super duper adorable local collective that sells everything from gorgeous organic flowers to funky little trinkets. Ohhhhh Ellen..............

The wildly talented and famous Ellen von Unwerth has always been one of my favorite photographers. Her images have spunk, sass, and spice. I love seeing how women photographers portray other women....and Ellen keeps them erotic, feminine, strong, and very girl-power!
